Dr. Martin Schellinck takes pride in creating life-altering smiles, and cherishes the patient relationships that develop during the orthodontic process. Dr. Schellinck is a Central Valley native, and is the youngest of four children, all of whom have a career in dentistry. For Dr. Schellinck, dentistry is a family business & he is eager to take care of your family as well.
Dr. Schellinck received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. He then attended the University of the Pacific’s dental school in San Francisco. Dr. Schellinck graduated as Salutatorian and was accepted into the prestigious orthodontics program at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. After graduating with a certificate in Orthodontics and a Masters degree in Oral Biology from Baylor in 2013, Dr. Schellinck became Board Certified. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. This prestigious title is awarded to orthodontists that have voluntarily passed additional clinical and oral examinations offered by the American board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Schellinck is one of only two board certified orthodontists in Walnut Creek. A board certified orthodontist guarantees that you are getting the highest quality and most up to date treatment. Only 33% of all orthodontists are board certified. Dr. Schellinck prides himself on taking the extra time not only in his own education and growth, but in yours as well. You can be assured that you will receive the best information and guidance regarding a treatment plan customized for your needs.
Outside of orthodontics, Dr. Schellinck enjoys watching sporting events, playing soccer, golf, and tennis, cooking, traveling, spending time with family and tending to his garden.

Madison Schellinck, is a Texas native who earned a B.B.A. in Management as well as a B.A. in Psychology from Southern Methodist University. Mrs. Schellinck is passionate about helping others and enjoys forming lasting relationships with patients and their families. Madison is a member of the Junior League of Oakland East Bay and enjoys volunteering throughout the community in her spare time. Her hobbies include biking on the iron horse trail, hiking, yoga, cooking, gardening, traveling, and spending time with family.
