Dr. Martin Schellinck takes pride in creating life-altering smiles, and cherishes the patient relationships that develop during the orthodontic process. Dr. Schellinck is a Central Valley native whose father is a family practice physician and mother is a nurse. Their private practice served the community for over 40 years and passed their dedication to patient care on to their four children, all of whom are dentists in the East Bay. Dr. Schellinck became an orthodontist to serve the community, develop lasting relationships with his patients, and provide the highest level of patient care.
Dr. Schellinck received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. He then attended the University of the Pacific’s dental school in San Francisco. Dr. Schellinck graduated as Salutatorian and was accepted into the prestigious orthodontics program at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas.
Outside of orthodontics, Dr. Schellinck enjoys watching sports, playing soccer, golf, and tennis, cooking, traveling, freshwater aquariums, spending time with his wife and two children, Everett and Charlotte.

Monique graduated at the top of her class as Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude at Unitek College. What excites Monique the most about orthodontics is making people feel happy and healthy about their smile. She loves working at Schellinck Orthodontics where we really focus on comfort and quality care for our patients. Our office welcomes everyone with big smiles and many amenities to make them feel “at home”. As a Registered Dental Assistant, she feels fortunate to be part of an amazing team! When she is not in the office, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and singing to every love song.

Madison is a Texas native who earned a B.B.A. in Management as well as a B.A. in Psychology from Southern Methodist University. Before joining the practice, Madison had a career in recruiting. Mrs. Schellinck is passionate about helping others and enjoys forming lasting relationships with patients and their families. Madison enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Schellinck, and their two children, Everett & Charlotte. In her spare time, Madison enjoys teaching yoga, biking on the iron horse trail, hiking, cooking and gardening.

Orthodontic Assistant
Mariana was born and raised in México, where she earned her degree to become an Orthodontist. Prior to getting married and moving to Walnut Creek, Mariana owned and operated her own private orthodontic practice. She brings years of expertise to her work and feels truly happy doing what she loves most: creating beautiful and healthy smiles.
Her first language is Spanish, so if you’re a patient who wants to practice your Spanish—or simply feel more comfortable speaking it—she will be delighted to chat with you in her native language.
When she’s not in the office, Mariana enjoys music, working out, exploring new restaurants, catching a movie, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. She is thrilled to care for patients’ smiles alongside a wonderful, dedicated team, and looks forward to making every visit a positive experience.
